We turn Iron Maiden albums into football shirts! The Dance Of Death model was inspired by the cover of the album of the same name, released by the band in 2003. The shirt highlights traces of the pentagram that appears on the floor of the scenario presented on the cover of the album.
Developed and approved together with Iron Maiden, the band's line of official football shirts were produced with the same quality and technology as the shirts used by major clubs around the world.
The main characteristic of the Dance Of Death model is the traces that refer to the pentagram of the original illustration. They appear divided into three bands, creating the geometric designs in maroon color, divided between two stripes in white and yellow, which highlight the colors present on the cover. The embroidered shield features the album's signature Eddie face – a reaper (or death) – with the inscription “Maiden F.C.”, making a reference to how we turn every Iron Maiden studio album into a team.
Black as predominant on the front and back of the shirt refers to the personification of Eddie on the album: death, which invites you to dance (and which makes no distinction between people, as the cover referenced). The model also features microperforated fabric bands on the sides, and yellow and white details on the cuffs of the sleeves. The band's name is applied in thermo-adhesive adhesive, with the same font used in the English brand, and follows the tones present on the original cover.
The number 03, corresponding to the year of the album's release, is applied in white, black and yellow stickers. The inscription "Dance Of Death", referencing the inspiration album, is sublimated at the nape of the neck. The official product seal completes the model - rubberized in polyurethane - applied on the front, along the shirt hem, certifying that the fan is purchasing a Original and exclusive product, licensed and approved by Iron Maiden itself.
