Tanned E D'back Rattlesnake Hide 6" X 52-1/2" w/1 seg "Crotalus adamanteus"

Description

Presented is a tanned Eastern Diamondback Rattler Hide ( Crotalus adamanteus). Measures 6" (widest width) X 52-1/2" (overall length) . This hide has 1 hole (pointed out in pic), 2 very small holes (only noticed holding up to a light and being pointed out on flesh side) and will have brad size holes along the very edges of the belly scales used for drying. Also has some greenish areas on the bellyscales from a ruptured gal bladder. Has been pickled, descaled, tanned, oiled and is semi soft.
Has the original rattle which consist of 1 seg. Beautiful colors and pattern. Excellent for a smaller project or inlays. Glues will adhere to my skins/hides. No odor. Please view pics.

All of my snake hides are natural deaths. Skins are obtained from other people, businesses or plantations.
Some terms used in my listings:
Tanned- chemical process turning the skin to leather
Air dried- natural drying without any chemicals or salt
Descaled- after tanning it produces a sun burn effect, the scales have been removed
Skin- missing head/tail or both
Hide- Complete snake head and tail/rattles
segs- rattles
